When I moved to Philadelphia this summer for an internship at Woden, I did not anticipate how hard it would be to get used to a completely new city, almost completely on my own.
I remember one night I was at my apartment, feeling particularly bored or lonely (or both), and I said to myself, “I need to make this summer awesome. I need to make the most of it.”
And out of that decision came my #PhillyDays project. Since photography wasn’t part of my everyday work life, I gave myself a challenge: post one photo of Philly every day to Instagram. But I was going to shoot these pictures on my DSLR, mainly to keep my shooting skills sharp.
With that, #PhillyDays began. I took me to new places, kept my photo inspiration burning and left me with a great set of memories form this summer.
